Adrian Nickols - Bolivia and Ecuador

From April 11, 2008 till Jan 2, 2009 Adrian is in Bolivia and Ecuador on a short term mission placement with I-teams.

In Bolivia Adrian will be based in Cochabamba with a mission organisation called IOU Bolivia (International Orphanage Union). They aim to reach the children of Bolivia through the following ministries:  i) Providing Christian homes for orphaned, abandoned and children at risk.  ii) Building, staffing and administering each home.  iii) Pursuing small business enterprises that provide for the needs of each child. 

Adrian says, "I will be involved in many ways, but I have been called to nurture and develop micro-businesses which seek to support the local orphanage. For some time now I have been looking for this kind of mission in Latin America, and it turns out they were looking for me!!" 

In Ecuador Adrian will be working with the street kids of Casa Gabriel, Quito through Youth World.
